Charge
The Selection Committee consists of appointed representatives from each of the 15 public library systems in Wisconsin. Using the WPLC Collection Development Policy as a guide, selectors choose adult,young adult and children’s materials in audio and ebook formats. For detailed information on materials and genres collected, please see the WPLC Collection Policy. In addition to a shared collection of materials available to all library patrons with a valid Wisconsin library card, library systems and their individual libraries have the ability to select materials that are made available the specific patrons within their systems.
The WPLC Selection Committee meets six times a year in January, March, May, July, September and November via Zoom.
