Collection Development Committee

Charge

This group is formed every other year to evaluate the composition of the collection purchased by the digital buying pool with particular attention on known concerns and potential additions to the collection.

Specifically, the committee will:

  1. Solicit feedback from the community regarding the collection.
  2. Create recommendations related to the collection.
  3. Review and offer recommendations for revisions to the selection policy.
  4. Create recommendations for the buying pool allocation.

The group is made up of three Board members, three Digital Library Steering Committee members and three Selection Committee members.
