The WPLC Digital Library Marketing Committee is pleased to announce a new statewide digital book club – Wisconsin Reads!

When: January 15 – March 14, 2026
Title: Still True, by Maggie Ginsberg
What:

  • Ebook and digital audiobook available to library users for the period of the digital book club.
  • Virtual author interview and Q&A event on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026 at 7:00 pm CT (which will be recorded and available after the event). The event will be hosted by Eric Norton, Community Engagement Librarian at McMillan Memorial Library (Wisconsin Rapids). Register to attend here.
  • Supporting materials – below you’ll find flyers, an overview handout, a discussion guide, some graphics, and promotional text to help you share the news about Wisconsin Reads and the author event with your community.

Why: To invite new and returning users of Wisconsin’s Digital Library to a shared reading experience with a Wisconsin-rooted book!

We have also created a patron-facing page on the WPLC website for you to share with library users with information about the program, links to the book, the discussion guide, and registration for the interview.
