Communications Committee

Charge

The WPLC Communications Committee is composed of one WPLC Board member, representatives from the Digital Library and Technology Steering Committees, a Library Director, a Public Library Marketing Cohort representative, and a DPI representative. The Committee meets quarterly and is charged with:

  • Developing WPLC champions with unified, easy to implement communication strategies and messages.
  • Increasing member library awareness of and engagement with the services the WPLC supports.
  • Improving communications between and among the various groups that accomplish the work of the WPLC to ensure awareness, increase efficiency, and inspire confidence.
