Using a Nook with Overdrive

Here is the information for using your Nook from the OverDrive folks:

We’re sorry to hear that your patron is having trouble with Adobe eBooks. Please note, your patron will need to transfer the title to their Nook using Adobe Digital Editions. Adobe Digital Editions can be downloaded from the link below.

Once your patron has installed Adobe Digital Editions, please have them follow the steps below to ‘authorize’ Adobe Digital Editions with an Adobe ID.

  1. Open Adobe Digital Editions
  2. In ‘Library View’, please click on the arrow next to ‘Library’.
  3. Click on ‘Authorize Computer’ and follow the steps.

Once this has been done, please have your patron connect their Nook to their computer. A device assistant should open asking to authorize the Nook. Once it has been authorized, while in ‘Library View’, please have your patron click and drag their title over to their Nook device in Adobe Digital Editions.
