Below is a summary of Next Generation platform updates that are now live as of today.
- General site performance improvements.
- Improved display of the Library Collection, Available Now, and Additional Titles buttons on the Advanced Search screen (only applicable to libraries with Recommend to Library) .
- Added the Kindle “USB only” note for Penguin titles on the Bookshelf page (US libraries only) .
Added instructions to the Holds page on how to return titles if a user’s hold is available but he/she is at their maximum checkouts.
Adding an option to display (by request) the recommendation limit on the Lending Policies page (for libraries with Recommend to Library only). If you are interested in adding this information to your website, please let me know. - New release: OverDrive Media Console mobile app for iOS v2.6.4 which now displays the Next Generation website. Users will need to update their app in order to see the new site.
