Earlier this year, the WPLC deployed two surveys - one of patrons, and one of librarians - to gather input on how the collection in Wisconsin's Digital Library should grow in order to be the most useful collection possible.  Both surveys revealed some interesting and very helpful information that will influence the policies and practices for the digital library.

The WPLC site at http://wplc.info/ will be down beginning at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 30th.  The site will be back up by 9:00 am on Wednesday, July 1st.

Wisconsin's Digital Library at http://dbooks.wplc.info/ will not be affected by this outage.  Should any of your patrons experience a problem accessing the digital library during this time, they can get to it directly at http://wplc.lib.overdrive.com/.

Below is a summary of updates for Wisconsin's Digital Library OverDrive website that are scheduled for release on Monday, July 6, 2015:

• Curated Collections will support sorting options and search filters to improve the user’s browsing experience.
• When users borrow a title, they will no longer be taken automatically to the Bookshelf. Instead, users will stay on their current page and see a notification confirming a successful checkout.
• Bug fixes and performance improvements
