We are very excited to announce that, to help support Wisconsin libraries and their patrons during these unprecedented times, the Department of Public Instruction is awarding the WPLC and Wisconsin’s Digital Library $250,000 in LSTA funds as part of an IMLS grant for digital content.

WPLC project managers have created a plan to allocate the funds:

1. Simultaneous Use Titles: Up to $30,000 for ebook and audio titles available for unlimited, simultaneous use for one year from the date of purchase.

In fall of 2019, the WPLC Collection Development Committee recommended, and the Steering Committee confirmed, to not renew the WPLC’s subscription to BiblioBoard. This includes the following:

• BiblioBoard Library
• WI Author Project Contest
• Pressbooks
• SELF-e

The WPLC subscription runs through March 31st and will inaccessible on April 1, 2020.

Get the word out about the program (Feb 19 - Mar 4) and title – Lean on Me – with a poster, bookmark and social media graphics.
