The 2019 Wisconsin Author Project launched on Monday, giving libraries yet another opportunity to help local authors get the recognition they deserve for writing great books! Wisconsin residents can submit their books here by May 31st!

The next Big Library Read, open April 1st through the 15th, will be Homes by Abu Bakr al Rabeeah and Winnie Yeung. Homes is the remarkable true story of how a young boy emerged from a war zone — and found safety in Canada — with a passion for sharing his story and telling the world what’s truly happening in Syria.

On April 1st, the ebook will be available with unlimited, simultaneous uses for all library users.

The next WIsconsin Author Project contest starts soon and libraries get yet another opportunity to help local authors get the recognition they deserve for writing great books! Submissions are due by May 31st and we have put together information and promotional materials to help you get the word out, including web graphics and a print poster and a press release to share.
