Below are the significant dates for the WPLC User / Non-User Research Program.
Webinars (Tuesdays from April 4 – April 25): Webinar series with Morrill Solutions Research to help you learn to develop questions and gather data about your library users and non-users. Register to attend, read more, or find the recordings.
- Tuesday, April 4 at 2:30 pm: Orientation: Setting Goals and Developing Questions
- Tuesday, April 11 at 2:00 pm: Survey Design and Measurement
- Tuesday, April 18 at 11:30 am: Qualitative Approaches
- Tuesday, April 25 at 2:00 pm: Using Other Data
Proposal Application (April 26 – May 26): Call for proposals open. See the Proposal Guidelines for more information. Proposals can be uploaded to this form on or after April 26th.
Proposal Selection (May 30 – June 9): The WPLC User / Non-User Survey Workgroup reviews and selects up to five proposals. Read more about the Selection Criteria.
First Consultation with Morrill Solutions Research (June 12 – June 30): Up to two hours allotted per project to refine and implement research projects.
Data Collection (July 1 – August 31): Research projects are launched.
Second Consultation with Morrill Solutions Research (September 1 – September 15): Up to two hours alloted per project to analyze and understand project results.
Data Analysis Webinar (Date TBD): A webinar available to all community members interested in learning how to analyze data.
WLA Annual Conference Presentation (October 17-20, Wisconsin Dells): Funded projects are required to present about their project, process, and findings at WLA 2017.
