Tomorrow, Friday, February 14th, the WI Digital Library will launch a Lucky Day Collection featuring popular front and midlist ebook titles.
The idea behind the Lucky Day Collection is two-fold:
1) To increase patron satisfaction and usage of the shared collection by allowing patrons the possibility to check out in-demand titles without waiting.
2) To circulate titles that have many copies that are no longer in high demand.
Details of the opening Lucky Day collection are as follows:
2477 ebook titles to begin the collection. These titles will be curated in a Lucky Day list and available via Libby and the OverDrive app.
7-day check out for Lucky Day titles
2 titles allowed per patron at once
OverDrive will be working with the WPLC project managers over the next few months to create a replenishment process for the collection. This collection is considered a pilot and will be evaluated over the next 6 months.
An email will be sent out tomorrow when the collection is live.
