OverDrive has published a new service that provides real-time status and historical performance reports for the OverDrive APIs. Previously, we have relied on the notice board for notification about status and performance concerns and OverDrive will continue to use this board for communicating news about changes, releases, features, etc. But we hope this new status service will provide us with a higher level of visibility and more timely reports of known issues and their statuses.
The WPLC Board at their August meeting approved using funds from its R&D and Reserve accounts to purchase OverDrive Periodicals digital magazine titles for Wisconsin's Digital Library as a pilot project. WiLS project managers worked with selectors from the WPLC Selection Committee to identify a starting collection title list.
